About Maria Jordan-O'Reilly
I am an artistic soul in a body that is getting older and a bit creaky at times. I love taking time to create beautiful images and to tap into my imagination. My current work is mostly abstract in nature, but bright and colourful and often inspired by nature and the rich ancient heritage that surrounds me in rural Ireland. The carved stones of my ancestors call to me, and their love of abstract decoration gives me joy. The colours I choose when I create are intuitive of how I am feeling, and the outcome is not guaranteed, but a journey each and every time into the unknown, Much like life itself!
